In two years, with only £3.5m, Meatly has become the first company in Europe to get regulatory approval for cultivated meat, developed industry-leading media formulations, and created the world’s first cultivated pet food products. Backed by Agronomics and Pets at Home, they aim to release initial product in 2024 and begin scale up next year.
