Martin is a partner at McWin Capital Partners, one of the leading venture capital firms dedicated to the food industry, where he leads the Food Technology division. With over a decade of experience in private equity investments and family offices, Martin has successfully managed over $1 billion in transactions and has played a key role in multiple successful exits. In his current position at McWin, Martin is responsible for overseeing the Food Technology operations and the company's fundraising activities. He has made notable investments in several successful companies in the sector, including Footprint, Oishii, Impossible Foods, MenuApp, Cook Unity, Blue Nalu, Perfect Day, Catcher, Clever Carnivore, Upside Foods, JUST Eat, Catcher and The Every Company. Additionally, Martin is part of the executive team and the Investment Committee of the company, where he leverages his experience and knowledge to shape McWin's investment strategy. Before joining McWin, Martin was the Executive Director of McWin's family office, where he oversaw the investment strategy and process, including asset allocation, portfolio construction and management, selection of external managers (venture capital and private equity funds), and direct private equity operations. Martin also has extensive experience in Institutional Investment Management, having worked for Naropa Capital and Rijn Capital BV, where he oversaw a variety of investments across different asset classes, including alternative investments, real estate, corporate finance, and project financing. Martin began his career at Citi Private Bank in London, where he served Spanish, Italian, and Greek clients as an associate banker. He gained extensive experience in investments, complex financial derivatives, lending, and currency transactions before moving to Madrid to cover the Spanish market. In 2003, Martin traveled to Sydney to take on the role of Business Development Director, where he developed and executed growth strategies in Australia and New Zealand. Martin brings immense value to McWin and its clients thanks to his broad experience and expertise in the field of investments. His distinguished track record in transactions, investments, and divestitures, as well as his ability to identify investment opportunities, makes him a significant asset for McWin.
