Jason Barrett is the Founder and CEO of Mondra, an environmental product footprinting platform for the food system. With 15 years’ experience working in Software, Data, and Analytics, the majority of Jason’s career has been spent supporting private sector organisations to conceive and build enterprise web applications that derive business value from complex data, working for a number of global technology firms during that time. Having launched Mondra in 2020, Jason is actively working to bring Government, Academia, and Industry together, to align around a single system for rigorous environmental product footprinting, at scale, for Retailers and their suppliers. Beyond delivering technology to support the NetZero transition, Jason actively advocates for harmonised methods and data standards across the value chain, to create a level playing field for the industry and the means to compete in the NetZero Economy. Prior to launching Mondra, Jason was a council member at the Global Sourcing Association from March 2016 to March 2019. From February 2016 to March 2021, he was the Director of Insight Driven Business ProArch. Here, he served as P&L owner for ProArch's UK Operations, responsible for financial and operational health. Jason grew the UK business from zero to circa 40% of global revenues over a three-year period and built a high performing globally distributed UK team including a dedicated nearshore capability in Europe.
