James is a Partner at Lever VC, a leading Venture Capital fund investing globally in the food & ag value chain. Prior to Lever VC, James was the Director of Strategy and Due Diligence for leading consulting firm Gira where he managed strategy and investment projects on the ground across 45 different countries, working with a range of leading players throughout the value chain from farm inputs to major protein, aquaculture and CPG companies. He has expertise across several core strategy issues, including procurement, go to market, growth and investment strategies, and has built out multiple national and international expansion strategies, both organic and through acquisition, for leading Food & Ag companies.
