David Kestenbaum is the Co-founder and CFO of Cauldron, a global biomanufacturer on a mission to realize the full potential of precision fermentation by unlocking price parity for mainstream bio-manufactured goods. Prior to Cauldron, David held a variety of senior leadership roles at AB InBev, a top 5 consumer goods company and the world’s largest brewer. As a founding member of ZX Ventures, the innovation and venture arm of ABInBev, he developed ZX’s venture studio model and helped build a billion-dollar e-commerce business. David served for several years as General Partner for ZX’s venture capital fund, investing in frontier market opportunities like biotech. As board director for BioBrew, ABInBev’s precision fermentation scale-up platform, he played a leading role in shaping the company’s precision fermentation strategy. David holds an MBA from Washington University in St. Louis and BBA in Finance from University of Texas at Austin.
