FAIRR INITIATIVE
The FAIRR Initiative is the world's fastest growing investor network, backed by over 400 investor members and $70 trillion in AUM. FAIRR aims to raise awareness on the material environmental, social and governance (ESG) risks and opportunities across the global food sector. Dana leads delivery of Phase 2 of FAIRR's Protein Diversification engagement, building upon her previous experience leveraging this theme from a public policy angle at the Jeremy Coller Foundation. Her work focuses on facilitating engagement between investors and 20 of the largest global food manufacturers and retailers, to encourage diversification of protein portfolios in line with positive climate and nutrition outcomes. Prior to joining the Foundation, Dana worked within UK Government as part of the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (DEFRA) on animal health and welfare policy in England. Her academic training is in the sciences, holding a first-class degree in Chemistry (MChem) and a research MPhil on cell-cultivated leather.
