Dr. Aaron Anselmo is the Chief Scientific Officer at VitaKey Inc. VitaKey is pioneering Precision Delivery of nutrients (e.g., protein, fatty acids, probiotics, carbohydrates, etc.), to enable their controlled delivery to the right place in the body, at the right time, in the right amount, and for a controlled duration. VitaKey's Precision Delivery platforms will be used to enable functionalities that are not currently possible in our everyday foods and beverages. Dr. Anselmo has co-authored over 55 publications in the areas of targeted delivery, controlled release, nutrient delivery, etc. in journals such as Science, Science Translational Medicine, Nature Nanotechnology, Nature Biotechnology, Nature Biomedical Engineering, Nature Reviews Drug Discovery, Nature Communications, PNAS, and Advanced Materials. Collectively, Dr. Anselmo’s work has been cited over 13,500 times. Dr. Anselmo completed his bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, his Ph.D. in chemical engineering at the University of California at Santa Barbara, and his postdoc at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology working with Professor Robert Langer (Co-Founder of VitaKey Inc.).
